I was unable to attend the funeral of the late Jeff Rowland,
so I am grateful to Johnathan Lake, who proudly acted as a pallbearer for Jeff at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday 29th November at 12.45pm. He tells me it was well attended by both family and friends and ironically it was a typical Jeff scene – heavy rain and wind. With a wonderful and at times humorous service. However, once the service was completed the rain stopped and the clouds cleared – some said Jeff had arrived at peace in heaven and was already busy painting the pearly gates 🙂
I am advised by Jeff’s sister, Helen, they raised a massive £930 collected for charities – proving Jeff’s charity work continues.
Johnathan has been asked to clear some of the artwork from Jeff’s home and he as already listed several on eBay – at very competitive prices – including sold out and rare items – Click Here for the Full List Obviously as time progresses the range and quantity will reduce so if you are looking to add to your collection act promptly.
However, I would like to specifically highlight the following ORIGINAL below
By the late Jeff Rowland. …..We Made It Through The Rain…
A truly stunning original painting by Jeff Rowland.
The painting has been stored since purchase many years ago and is immaculate. The painting has never been framed. I also have a full brochure of photographs showing the creation of this fine painting at all different stages. It is a beautiful collection of photographs showing Sketches of the characters as they appear on canvas to the painting prior to the rain. A real collector’s piece along with a separate working pencil sketch of the photographer which will again look great when framed.
This is a large painting as Jeff painted regularly many years back, almost twice the size of the standard original. The canvas measures 30 x 48 inches. A fine statement piece.

I will follow up on the next post with images of “Right Here Waiting For You” and “Listen to The Rain” tomorrow. Enjoy!
